
Andrew Sholl
Andrew’s career spans government, media and industry across three decades and three continents.
He has advised global companies including Google, Walmart, Tata Consultancy Services, REA Group and media groups Sky, RTL and The Guardian. He returned to Australia in 2011 to head the communications function for Australia’s largest infrastructure project, the National Broadband Network.
In 1997 he was dubbed by Newsweek magazine “the most influential foreigner” involved in Tony Blair’s landslide UK election victory.
Andrew is a former senior journalist for the ABC. He is the author of a best-selling book on English usage, The Name Game.

Karen Iles
Karen is a leader in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and business ethics.
Her contributions have had a positive impact on businesses and organisations including Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers, Tata Consultancy Services, KPMG, Amnesty International and the trade union movement.
Under Karen's leadership the community programs of Tata Consultancy Services were recognised by The Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility as among the Top 10 CSR Companies in 2017. It was named the number one company in Australia for CSR by the Australian Human Resources Institute in 2016.
Karen is a director of GetUp! and has held non-executive board directorships with not-for-profit organisations over an 18 year period.
Karen is a lawyer admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Women's Studies).

Katie Thompson
Katie brings a wealth of global expertise to Hennessy Advisory as the company’s Partner, EMEA, having spent two decades creating international communications strategies for some of the world’s biggest and best-loved brands.
She has advised Boards, CEOs and senior editors, built high-performing teams, and spearheaded culture change across organisations. She led communications and marketing efforts at Guardian US in New York, launched Guardian Australia, and was responsible for amplifying The Guardian’s award-winning journalism and commitment to openness and speaking truth to power to global audiences. She directed brand, communications and employee engagement across 37 countries for Marie Stopes International; and built a media and content function for the UK’s most progressive energy company, OVO. She delivered standout communications campaigns for Coca-Cola’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic Games; and has overseen reputation management programmes for organisations including Google, Facebook and the Scout Association.
Katie is a Trustee of the UK’s Campaign for Freedom of Information and a former Fellow of the WomenInPower program in New York City.
She holds a BSc in Politics.
